I recently stayed at Gorah Elephant Camp for a few nights and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel incredibly welcome and took care of every detail. The camp itself is stunning, with attention to detail and beautiful surroundings. The food was absolutely delicious and abundant, and the game drives were well-organized and informative. The location within the park is magical, with private and spacious tents, a lovely main lodge, and incredible views of the wildlife. The service here is exceptional, from the valet to the guides. I cannot recommend this lodge highly enough.

We had an incredible experience at Gorah, a gem of a property in the middle of Addo Elephant Park. the staff at this beautiful old-style historic lodge were welcoming, knowledgeable, and attentive. From personalized notes to fantastic food and drinks, they paid amazing attention to every possible detail. the luxurious tented accommodation exceeded our expectations, and the private game drives with the knowledgeable and personable guides were unforgettable. the wildlife at the watering hole behind the main house was plentiful, and we even saw elephants and rhinos there. Staying at Gorah is a must when visiting the Eastern Cape. Cons: Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like! 😄.

The lodge's decoration is absolutely charming, reminiscent of a bygone era. The antique furnishings and tasteful interior are a delight to the eyes. The general areas are well-maintained and provide a cozy and comfortable atmosphere for relaxation. As a senior woman, I appreciated the accessibility of the hotel, with easy navigation and helpful staff who were always ready to assist.
If I had to ask for one thing to make the vacation even better for senior people, I would suggest that the children working there could provide more assistance or guidance for older guests.

The tented luxury suites at Gorah Elephant Camp were absolutely incredible. The private deck offered breathtaking panoramic views, and the plush interiors made me feel like royalty. As a business traveler, I couldn't have asked for a more comfortable and relaxing stay.
Personally, I found the backdrop of the conference area a bit distracting. However, I understand that others might appreciate the unique setting and find it inspiring.

The prices were quite high, especially for locals. It would have been nice to have more activities available, such as guided walking trails to explore the flora of the region.

The camp totally captured the adventure and mystical vibes of an authentic African safari. We saw elephants, rhinos, lions, and so much more in their natural habitat. The staff and guides were super cool and made us feel right at home. The game drives and nature walks were thrilling and gave us a real taste of the wild side. Best vacation ever!
If I had to nitpick, the only thing I would ask for is more late-night partying options for us young, wild party animals. Like maybe some live music or a bonfire where we can dance the night away.
